Kemetic Yoga™ is the ancient Egyptian system of Yoga enlightenment based upon the practices of physical movements combined with controlled deep breathing and meditation.
Kemetic Yoga™ is a healing and regenerative Yoga system that is characterized by a series of geometrically progressive postures. The postures create alignment of the spinal column correcting the defects in the skeletal muscular system and common lifestyle dis-eases such as hypertension, obesity and diabetes. Relieving stress, increasing blood circulation, nutrient and oxygen supply to vital body systems. This allows for a more effective flow of abundant energy throughout the entire body and in the efficient flow of cerebral fluid in the spine.
In this training we will exploring and integrating the Different Neteru, or energy principles of the universe, exploring the systems of different Divine qualities, calling in the support of our ancestors and Wisdom Keepers of the Land.
Health and Healing are our main goals for this training, as well as reviving the ancient Magic and mystery of our universal natures as we go deep into a personal journey of transformation. Ursula will skillfully guide us with her inherited shamanic knowledge of the different realms, as we integrate wisdom and clarity into our beings. Within this Journey you will learn how to begin to support groups in their own personal journeys as well as conduct yoga classes, by learning the practicalities in this field of work.
The neteru (nature spirits/deities) are archetypal guides and principles from the Egyptian pantheon. With ancient wisdom and abiding love, they lead us on our shamanic journey of transformation—a journey designed to awaken the healing power of our hearts.
You can find many wonderful interpretations of these deities—both scholarly and anecdotal—in the Egyptian literature. Our work approaches the neteru from a more personal point of view.
